Batchseed isn’t just another food website. We are aiming to improve the food supply chain by combining the best of sites like Etsy, Kickstarter and Naked Wines to form a unique platform that can reduce food waste and connect shoppers with makers direct. We also want to provide a unique insight for buyers into the value and quality of their food, how it’s made and who makes it.
Supporting our producers is a huge part of our business model and we aim to provide grassroots business support that will result in successful regional producers bringing new products to market and diversifying rural businesses. And that’s just the start! Our plans to add exciting new blockchain technologies will transform the supply chain. We are building partnerships with everyone from social media experts, photographers, logistics companies to suppliers of sustainable packaging.
